4D Lotto Payout Guide: How Much Every 4D Prize Pays per RM1
Your number just showed up on the 4D result sheet. Great. Now the real question: how much do you actually take home? The answer depends on three things – the operator, your bet type and the prize tier your number landed in.
This 4D Lotto payout guide puts every major Malaysian operator side by side, using the standard per-RM1 tables published by each operator. You will also learn how to scale payouts to your stake, how iBox and mBox prizes are split, and what each table really returns over time. All tables were last checked on 11 October 2026. Operators can revise prizes, so always confirm with the official source before you claim.
Key takeaways
- Magnum 4D, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai share the same standard table: RM2,500 Big / RM3,500 Small for 1st Prize per RM1.
- GD Lotto and Perdana pay higher: RM2,875 Big / RM4,025 Small for 1st Prize per RM1.
- Big covers all 23 winning numbers. Small covers only the top 3, but pays more.
- Payouts scale with your stake: a RM2 bet pays twice the per-RM1 figure.
- iBox and mBox prizes are roughly the straight prize divided by the permutation count.

How 4D Payouts Work
Malaysian 4D is a fixed-odds game. Each operator publishes a fixed prize for every RM1 you bet in every tier. So your prize does not depend on how many other people win. If ten players hit the same number, all ten collect the full amount.
Every draw produces 23 winning numbers:
| Tier | Numbers Drawn | Covered by Big | Covered by Small |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | 1 | Yes | Yes |
| 2nd Prize | 1 | Yes | Yes |
| 3rd Prize | 1 | Yes | Yes |
| Special (Starter) | 10 | Yes | No |
| Consolation | 10 | Yes | No |
A Big bet wins on any of the 23 numbers but pays less per tier. A Small bet wins only on the top three, but pays more for each.
Magnum 4D, Sports Toto and Da Ma Cai Payout Table
The three main licensed operators use the same standard table for their classic 4D game. That makes the magnum 4d prize payout structure, the sports toto 4d payout table and the damacai 1+3d winning prize payout identical for straight Big and Small bets.
Standard prize per RM1 bet
| Prize Tier | Big Bet | Small Bet |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | RM2,500 | RM3,500 |
| 2nd Prize | RM1,000 | RM2,000 |
| 3rd Prize | RM500 | RM1,000 |
| Special (x10) | RM180 | – |
| Consolation (x10) | RM60 | – |
Each operator also runs extra products, such as 4D Jackpot, 5D, 6D and 3D games. Those have their own prize rules, so check each operator’s official prize page:
GD Lotto and Perdana 4D Payout Guide
GD Lotto (Grand Dragon Lotto) and Perdana 4D publish a richer table. Both pay at least 15% more than the standard Malaysian table in every tier.
GD Lotto and Perdana prize per RM1 bet
| Prize Tier | Big Bet | Small Bet |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | RM2,875 | RM4,025 |
| 2nd Prize | RM1,150 | RM2,300 |
| 3rd Prize | RM575 | RM1,150 |
| Starter (x10) | RM230 | – |
| Consolation (x10) | RM69 | – |
So the gd lotto 4d payout guide and the perdana 4d payout structure line up exactly. Note that both operators call the second-level block Starter rather than Special.
Singapore 4D Payout in MYR
Singapore Pools pays in SGD, with its own table. The top prize is lower than Malaysia’s, but the Starter prize is higher.
Singapore Pools prize per SGD 1 bet
| Prize Tier | Big Bet | Small Bet |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | SGD 2,000 | SGD 3,000 |
| 2nd Prize | SGD 1,000 | SGD 2,000 |
| 3rd Prize | SGD 490 | SGD 800 |
| Starter (x10) | SGD 250 | – |
| Consolation (x10) | SGD 60 | – |
How to convert a Singapore 4D payout to MYR
Exchange rates move every day, so use this simple formula with the live rate on the day you claim:
MYR value = SGD prize x today’s SGD-to-MYR rate
Example only: if the rate were 3.00, an SGD 2,000 Big 1st Prize would be worth about RM6,000. Banks and money changers also charge a spread, so your final amount may be slightly lower.

How to Calculate Your 4D Prize
The formula is simple:
Your prize = Per-RM1 prize x Your stake
| Example | Calculation | Prize |
|---|---|---|
| RM1 Big, hits 1st Prize (Magnum) | RM2,500 x 1 | RM2,500 |
| RM2 Big, hits 1st Prize (Magnum) | RM2,500 x 2 | RM5,000 |
| RM5 Small, hits 2nd Prize (Toto) | RM2,000 x 5 | RM10,000 |
| RM3 Big, hits Consolation (Da Ma Cai) | RM60 x 3 | RM180 |
| RM1 Big, hits 1st Prize (GD Lotto) | RM2,875 x 1 | RM2,875 |
Big and Small on the same number
Many players buy both Big and Small on one number. If it hits a top-three tier, you collect both prizes. For example, RM1 Big plus RM1 Small on a Magnum 1st Prize hit pays RM2,500 + RM3,500 = RM6,000. If it hits Special or Consolation, only the Big portion pays.
iBox and mBox Payouts: How the Prize Is Split
Permutation bets change the payout. Here is how:
- Box bet: You buy every permutation as a full bet, so a hit pays the full straight prize. Your cost is the stake x the permutation count.
- iBox / mBox: You cover every permutation for one stake. In return, the prize is roughly the straight prize divided by the permutation count.
Example: RM1 iBox / mBox Big on 1234 (24 permutations), standard table
| Tier Hit | Straight Prize | Approx. iBox / mBox Prize |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Prize | RM2,500 | about RM104 |
| 2nd Prize | RM1,000 | about RM42 |
| 3rd Prize | RM500 | about RM21 |
| Special | RM180 | about RM7.50 |
| Consolation | RM60 | about RM2.50 |
Fewer permutations mean a bigger share. A 6-permutation iBox on 1122 pays about RM417 for a Big 1st Prize hit. Operators round these figures in their own way, so check the official iBox or mBox table for exact amounts. Use our 4D permutation calculator to see how many permutations your number has.
What the Payout Tables Really Return
Here is a number most payout guides never show you. By multiplying each prize by its chance of hitting, you can work out the average return of each table per RM1 bet.
| Table | Big Bet Average Return | Small Bet Average Return |
|---|---|---|
| Magnum / Toto / Da Ma Cai | about 64 sen per RM1 | about 65 sen per RM1 |
| GD Lotto / Perdana | about 76 sen per RM1 | about 75 sen per RM1 |
| Singapore Pools | about 66 cents per SGD 1 | about 58 cents per SGD 1 |
How we got this: For the standard Big table, add every prize a number could win across all 23 winning slots: 2,500 + 1,000 + 500 + (180 x 10) + (60 x 10) = 6,400. Then divide by the 10,000 possible numbers. That gives 0.64, or 64 sen back for every RM1 over the long run.
So no matter which operator you pick, the average player gets back less than they spend. Treat any win as a bonus, not an income plan.
How to Claim Your 4D Prize
Once your payout is confirmed, follow these steps:
- Verify the result on the official operator website, not just a screenshot.
- Keep your ticket safe, flat and unmarked.
- Check the claim deadline. Every operator sets one.
- Claim at the right place. Smaller prizes and larger prizes may follow different routes.
- Bring ID for larger claims.
Our [where to claim your prize](/where-to-claim-prize) guide walks through each step in detail.
Responsible Play
You must be at least 18 to play 4D in Malaysia. Payout tables show what you could win, not what you will win. Set a fixed budget before each draw, never chase losses, and never use money meant for essential living costs.
